I am Miss West St Paul 2007, Kayla Kopp. I would just like to thank everyone who gave me this amazing opportunity to represent the great city of West St. Paul!

I am currently a senior at St. Croix Lutheran High School. There, I have been blessed with extraordinary friends and teachers, and also have been privileged to learn about God's grace everyday. One of my favorite things to do is play hockey, and I'm very excited to start this year's season! When I'm not busy with royal duties, hockey, or school, I love hanging out with the people I love the most - my friends and family. Movie nights, shopping, going out to dinner and tubing are some activities I enjoy. I am also very excited to be going on my third mission trip to Chicago in a couple weeks!

I really enjoyed National Night Out. Meeting all the families that make up this community gave me nothing but smiles. It really showed how wonderful of a community I am blessed to not only represent, but live in. I loved seeing all the different girls from the "sparkle section." They make the experience that much more amazing! Also, the library hours and other events were all very close to our hearts. We loved seeing the joy on the kids' faces over the summer at the library. I am very excited to start the winter activities and of course celebrate our own celebration this coming May!

Princess Ellie and Princess Sylvia, you two are amazing. I'm beyond positive that we've packed as many good times in the past months as we possibly could, and I'm so excited to see what the next couple months have in store for us! I'm so glad we get along so great and we've become so close. This year would have been nothing without you two! I love you ladies so much.

And last, but certainly not least my sponsor! Plaza TV and Appliance - "The best sponsor ever!" You all were so nice and welcoming to me! Thank you so much for your sponsorship through this whole year, I hope I made you guys proud!

Yours truly,
Miss West St Paul 2007

Elizabeth Vandagriff

Hello, I am West St. Paul Princess 2007 Elizabeth Vandagriff and I would like to thank everyone for making this such a wonderful and memorable year.

I am currently a senior at St. Agnes High School in St. Paul. One of my favorite things to do is play volleyball; I have been playing on school teams since I was in seventh grade and play with my two sisters all the time. I otherwise enjoy hanging out with family and friends, reading, and shopping. I have also been a part of my school’s spring musical for several years which is always really enjoyable. This year our production is “Good News” which is a lot of hard work, yet so much fun.

One of my favorite things to do this year was to go to Wentworth Library, during the summer, and partaking in all of the activities that they provided for the kids. It was fun to watch them get really excited and dance around. Along with these, there were numerous events that we loved so much and had a lot of fun attending. It was so interesting to go to all the different communities and see and meet all of the interesting people. The other royalties were great to meet and friendly everywhere we went.

To my girls, Queen Kayla and Princess Sylvia, I am so glad that we went through this together. You two are so amazing and it has been so much fun getting close with you girls. We have had some great times this year and I hope that continues even after new girls are crowned. I love you!

Last but certainly far from least to my sponsors, Pace’s Tire and Service Center. Thank you so much for making this possible for me. I would not have had such an amazing opportunity without you and it means so much that you allowed me to do this. Again thank you.

Yours truly,
West St. Paul Princess 2007

To my community, friends and family,

I am West St. Paul Princess 2007, Sylvia Krohn.  I am truly honored to have been chosen to represent this wonderful city. I know that it’s a great responsibility and that it is also fantastic opportunity.

I am currently a senior a Henry Sibley Senior High School and I plan to attend a college in Minnesota after graduation. I enjoy swimming, reading, rock-climbing, and hanging out in my back yard. I like to volunteer as much as possible and am really looking forward to that aspect of the year.

I really enjoyed National Night Out and meeting so many wonderful families and neighbors! We connected deeply with some in the short time we had to meet them! It has also been amazing to visit the other communities and meet the ones representing them. I think we all have made a few very close friends! I can't wait to participate in all the winter festivities to come and of course, our own celebration in May!

I want to thank my sponsors extremely; I genuinely appreciate their donation which allowed me to participate in the candidacy.  Although this is their first year contributing to the royalty program, they were very welcoming and friendly.

I would also like to thank the girls I was crowned with, Kayla and Elizabeth, for being so open and friendly. We’ve been having an absolutely incredible time, and I know that won't stop anytime soon. We all clicked from the beginning, and I couldn’t be happier spending a year with the both of you.

Yours truly,
West St. Paul Princess 2007
